Training Description: 

This is an interactive course using PedFACTS, Pediatrics First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers, developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics. This class meets national standards for what child care providers should know about recognition and first response to an injury or pediatric medical emergency in a child care setting, including management of a blocked airway and rescue breathing. This course covers children from birth to 12 years of age.

The instructor is certified by PA Keys and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
