Training Description:

This course will examine the definition of teen-dating violence, the signs that someone is in an abusive relationship, the reasons teen-dating violence occurs in the lives of teens and what is being done to prevent dating violence or support young people for whom this is a reality. As we attempt to untangle yet another challenge facing young people today, we will look at some of the generally agreed upon risk and protective factors and some of the practices that are being used to address teen-dating violence.
