Training Description: 

Participants will benefit from a “cross-systems” approach to navigating the systems from which clients need services. This training emphasizes good communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills that together support family-centered practice by child welfare professionals with the skills to manage conflict and negotiate access for positive outcomes. Videos, small-group exercises, and handouts will be used to provide opportunities to experience problem solving in various settings. In addition, participants will have an opportunity to assess their own conflict management styles.
