Building Literacy: Using Independent Reading to Create a Community of Thoughtful Readers
In this workshop, participants will learn the necessary steps to establish independent reading in Out-of-School Time programs. Participants will also practice creating lesson plans that emphasize reading, and gain resources to establish reading libraries in their programs.
This series counts for Act 48 and PQAS Credits. Certificates and training credits will only be distributed at the end of the series to individuals who have successfully completed all workshops in the series.
